A serious operator with no name of its own
Managed.com owns and runs a family of hosting and cloud brands, including HostPapa, CloudBlue and ColoCrossing. It has more than 750 people in 40 countries, over ten owned data centres and more than 20 acquisitions since 2013.
Each brand had its own name and its own customers, and nothing tied them together. To the market the group looked like a list of separate companies. We built the parent brand from the ground up, then designed and built the website that launched it in September 2026.

01 The challenge
A hosting group brand with no name tying it together
The group grew by buying businesses, and each one kept its name, its customers and its reputation. That was the right call. What was missing was the layer above them: the operator that owns the data centres, runs the platforms and stands behind every brand. Without it, the strongest proof the group had, its infrastructure and its track record, was spread across names that never pointed back to one company.
02 Three audiences
One brand, read by three very different audiences
The brand had to work for three groups at once. Staff across every business needed to feel part of one company. Customers, from small firms to enterprise teams, needed one operator they could trust. Investors needed to see a platform they could back. So the identity rests on one simple idea that holds for all three: one company, with a family of brands behind it.

03 The idea
A brand backed by what the group already owns
In infrastructure, overselling loses serious buyers fast. So the brand leads with evidence: owned data centres, twenty years of operating and one platform with four engines. Every claim sits next to the proof for it. The look follows the same thinking. Cream paper and coal ink, with four colours that give each engine its own place, so the brand reads like a document you can trust.

Very professional, extremely competent designers, highly recommends!

04 The mark
Logo design: the whole stack in one mark
The symbol is the m from the Managed.com wordmark, drawn with the same shapes and the same weight, so it never looks like a separate object. Its base stands for the operating stack, the services and infrastructure the group brings together. From there the shape resolves into one clean form with four coloured stripes. It is a simple picture of complexity being managed.

05 The website
A hosting group website that speaks in one voice
The website is where the brand went public, so we designed and built it end to end, animation included. The masthead sets the headline over the family logo strip and the coloured peaks, so visitors meet one company and the names it stands behind. Below, two sets of cards do the explaining: the four engines, each marked Connected, and four plain lines on what Managed.com does.
06 The system
A brand identity system the whole family can use
Every heritage brand keeps its name and gains one line: a Managed.com company. Customers keep the brand they chose and can now see the operator behind it. Guidelines set out the colours, type, mark, messaging and art direction, so each business uses the parent brand the same way. The website is built from the same parts, so it reads as the brand itself.
