People read a payments screen more closely than any other. They check the total, the fee, the date and what happens if they change their mind. A screen that hides one of those reads as a risk, even when the product is sound. Wise onboards, checks and pays self-employed workers for logistics and construction firms. More than 2,500 companies use it, and £1bn in payments has gone through it. We rebuilt its website from the structure up. Proof now sits where buyers arrive, and the business and its workers get separate routes. Offwork turns an employer's monthly payments into points staff spend on travel. We designed the brand, the employee and admin app and the website, starting from an idea. It has 6,774 users and a 19% sign-up rate. Finzu is AI accounting software for UK founders and the finance teams who sign off their numbers. We designed the app, its design system and the website, around one promise: every figure shows its working. It is in early access ahead of launch. We also designed the checkout hosting companies take payments through on WHMCS. We worked with Moar on its crypto lending product and design system. And we designed the brand and website for Recap, which makes crypto tax reports for HMRC.

Website design and build for a platform that has onboarded more than 280,000 subcontractors. Its own figures sit where buyers decide whether to keep reading: onboarding in 10 minutes and 17 hours of admin saved a week. See Wise.
Offwork, a travel perk paid in points
Every pound an employer pays in shows up as points, and the app keeps that one number in front of each person. If a trip costs more, the difference goes on a card in the same step. See Offwork.
WHMCS checkout
Card, PayPal, Klarna and bank transfer in one space, with the order summary in view the whole time. Klarna states what is paid today and over the next two months: three payments of $36.99 against a $110.97 order. See the buy flow.

Fintech product design and payments website design
Grid designs products and websites for fintech, payments and finance software. We work on the screens where money is moved, shown or owed. We also design the website that earns a cautious buyer's trust before a demo.
For product work, we map balances, fees, payment states and failure cases before visual design. A payment can be pending, failed, refunded or split between points and a card. Each needs a screen of its own and a clear next step.
For fintech websites, we put proof where a buyer arrives. On Wise that meant volume figures and client logos in the hero. Security came early, with a named client quote on the first scroll.
