Website Terms of Use
Last updated
These terms govern your use of griddesign.co.uk.
They are not the terms on which we supply design services. Those are set out in our Terms of Business and the Statement of Work for your project, and they are agreed in writing before any work begins. If you are a client, that is the contract between us — not this page. A copy of our Terms of Business, Data Processing Agreement and Supplier Information Sheet is available on request from hello@griddesign.co.uk.
By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Using this website
You may view, download and print pages from this site for your own use or for the internal use of your organisation.
You may not:
- Republish, sell, rent or sub-license material from this site
- Reproduce or copy material for a commercial purpose
- Present material from this site as your own work, or as work produced by anyone other than us and our clients
- Use the site in any way that damages it, or that interferes with anyone else's use of it
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, the server it runs on, or any system connected to it
- Use automated systems to extract material from the site at a rate that places an unreasonable load on it, or to build a competing service
- Use the site to send unsolicited commercial communications
Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, we or our licensors own the intellectual property rights in this website and in the material on it. All such rights are reserved.
The Grid name, the Grid logo and our visual identity are ours. Nothing on this site grants you a licence to use them.
Work shown on this site
The projects on this site were produced for the clients named alongside them. Those clients own the brands, products and trade marks shown, and they appear here as a record of work we did, with permission.
Case-study figures and outcomes describe results in a specific context, at a specific time, for a specific client. They are illustrative. They are not a promise of what any other project will achieve.
Accuracy
We take care over what we publish, but this site is provided for general information. It is not advice, and it should not be relied on as the only basis for a decision. Content may be out of date, and we are under no obligation to update it.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to that, we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to this website to the fullest extent permitted by law, and we will not be liable for:
- Any business loss, including loss of profit, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, goodwill or reputation
- Loss or corruption of data
- Any indirect or consequential loss
arising out of your use of, or inability to use, this website.
These exclusions apply to the website only. Our liability for the services we supply is dealt with in our Terms of Business.
Links to other sites
This site links to sites we do not control. Those links are provided for convenience. Their presence is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for their content or for what they do with your information.
Enquiries you send us
If you send us an enquiry, a brief or a document through this site or by email, you confirm that you are entitled to send it and that doing so does not breach anybody else's rights or any obligation of confidence you are under.
We treat what you send us as confidential and use it only to respond to you and to prepare a proposal.
Availability
We aim to keep this site available, but we do not guarantee it. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it without notice, and we are not liable if it is unavailable for any period.
Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date at the top of the page tells you when it was last changed. Please check it from time to time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
