One senior, all three layers
The same person is in the brand workshop and the design review.
We work out what you actually sell, then build a system that says it the same way everywhere. Rules included, so nothing drifts.

The one surface every buyer sees before they talk to you. We rebuild it around how they actually evaluate you, then build it properly.

Interfaces for genuinely complicated software. We rebuild the architecture, not just the screens, so engineers can extend it.

Not a fourth thing to buy. A context that changes the other three. The hard part isn’t the interaction, it’s showing the working.

The numbers
Every figure below has a client name on it and a case study behind it.
Why one team
Nothing gets handed over, translated, or explained twice.
The same person is in the brand workshop and the design review.
We write them, then we build with them. Real constraints, not ideals.
Your components, patterns and language from one layer to the next.

Really impressed with the quality of Grid. Everything was backed with science and data, a strong review process, and deep sector understanding.
Andrew KillenCTO, ServeboltVery professional, extremely competent designers who really understand their craft. A brilliant team to work with, delivering thoughtful, high-quality work every time.
Sylvain PatryManaged.comI recommend Grid Design. Sy and his team are brilliant at what they do. Fast, highly skilled, and extremely efficient. They are a rare diamond.
Ash MiriFounder, Air Landline & TSRGDThe work speaks for itself. Grid consistently delivers thoughtful, high-quality design, with real attention to detail, strong ideas and results that genuinely make an impact.
Corey HammondGeneral Manager, HostPapaThe process
Workshops, research, and a brief that locks goals, users and scope. Discovery ends when the ambiguity does.
Wireframes through to production UI, tested against how your buyers actually behave. You see first work in week two.
Full build in WordPress, React or headless, or a developer-ready handover with documented components and tokens.
Post-launch tracking against the number we agreed at the start. If it didn’t move, we’ll be the ones to tell you.
FAQs
Usually not the one in the enquiry. A "new website" is often a positioning problem, and a "rebrand" is often a product that nobody can explain. The first call is for working that out, and it is free. If you only need one layer, we will say so and scope only that.
Fixed price against a fixed scope, agreed before we start, paid in milestones. You get a number at proposal stage and we hold it. We give an honest band on the first call rather than make you sit through a process to find out, and we will tell you if you don't need us, which happens more often than you'd think.
Both, and you choose. We build in WordPress, React or headless, picked for what your team has to run afterwards. If you have your own engineers, we hand over documented components and tokens and stay on hand while they build. Either way the person who designed it is the person in the build review.
The people you meet on the first call. Grid is senior-only, no juniors, no account managers, no handovers. One lead runs your project from kickoff to launch and is in every workshop and every review.
Yes. The team is remote and about half the client list is outside the UK: Managed.com and HostPapa in Canada, Servebolt in Norway, WebPros and CloudLinux in the US, Luc Vincent in Quebec. We work in your time zone for the meetings that matter and asynchronously for the rest.
Companies whose value is hard to explain. Most of our work is hosting, infrastructure and technical SaaS (cPanel, Plesk, WHMCS, CloudLinux, hosting.com, Servebolt, TSRGD, Wise), with brand and e-commerce work alongside it (Luc Vincent, The3Key). If your product needs a glossary before a designer is any use, that is our normal starting position.
