Domain registrar website and checkout design for faster checkouts.
Domain search, cart and checkout for registrars and hosts, designed around buyers who arrive without a name yet

Why registrars
Most buyers arrive without a domain in mind
A domain search box expects an exact name. Most people arrive knowing what their business is and little else. When the first screen asks for something they do not have yet, the search turns into guesswork. For the WHMCS buy flow, which works with more than 100 domain registrars, we designed a search that starts from the business. A buyer types a plain description, such as a small-batch coffee roaster in Bristol, and gets names that fit, priced up front. Tone and length filters narrow the list without starting again. The rest of the checkout follows the same thinking. The cart shows its sums, including the renewal price, and extras appear only where they fit the order. That work shipped in WHMCS, and it is what we bring to a registrar's own site.
What we have built
Built for selling domains
WHMCS buy flow
Every step from domain search to payment, designed as pages and parts any hosting brand can make its own, and shipped in WHMCS. AI domain search, a cart that shows its sums and four payment methods in one space. See the buy flow.
Registrars and hosts we work with
Namecheap, the domain registrar and host, for UX audits including EasyWP. One.com, the European web host, for a UX audit and a pitch deck. Hosting.com, the global host, for UX, UI and product projects. See all our clients.
WHMCS website
The marketing site for the billing platform behind thousands of hosting companies. Its integrations grid lets a buyer find their own payment gateway in seconds, as each tile fills with its brand colour. See WHMCS.

What we design
From search box to payment
The first screen and the busiest. Search that starts from the business, with suggestions priced up front and filters that keep the list.
Search, cart and checkout
Domain registrar website design and hosting checkout UX
Grid designs websites and checkouts for domain registrars and hosting companies that sell domains. The work covers domain search, results, the cart, account setup and payment, and the marketing pages that send buyers there.
Registrar checkouts carry more numbers than most: first-year price, renewal price, term discounts and the extras. We design them so each number is shown once, in the place a buyer checks it. In the WHMCS buy flow, one, two and three year terms show 25%, 30% and 35% off. The price rolls as you choose.
Upsells appear only where they make sense. SSL is offered for domains already in the cart, and adding hosting makes a domain free for the first year. Nothing new is asked for at the last step.

What registrars and hosts ask us first
We have run UX audits for Namecheap, including EasyWP, and a UX audit for One.com. Our deepest checkout work is the WHMCS buy flow, from domain search to payment. It shipped in WHMCS, which works with more than 100 registrars.
Customers describe their business in plain words, for example a small-batch coffee roaster in Bristol. The search suggests names that fit, priced up front. Tone and length filters narrow the list without starting again, and adding a name happens in place.
Only offer them where they make sense. In the WHMCS cart, SSL is offered for domains already in the basket. Adding hosting makes a domain free for the first year, and term options show the saving.
If it runs on WHMCS, the buy flow we designed already runs on a small set of colour tokens, with five starter themes. On other platforms we design to what the platform can show, and say early where it cannot.
The ones your buyers use, in one space, with the order summary in view. The WHMCS checkout puts card, PayPal, Klarna and bank transfer side by side. Klarna states what is paid today and over the next two months.
Not if it is done properly. We audit what ranks now, map the redirects before anything moves and keep the extension and pricing pages that are earning. The redirect map is a named deliverable, agreed weeks before launch.
